 Physical Education dress code

Sneakers must be worn at ALL times in the gym.  (No Flip Flops, boots or shoes).  Although it is not required, students are encourage to wear comfortable clothing that does not restrict their movement.

 Lockers???

Students do not have lockers for PE class.

Injury

Any student, who needs to be out of his/her physical education class for an extended period of time, must submit a form to the school nurse from their doctor listing the medical limitations(s) relating to physical education participation.  The form should be submitted to the school nurse as soon as possible.  Modifications will consist of: 1) (depending on academic level) a writing assignment 2) scorekeeping, officiating &/or assisting PE teacher.

Student Elevation

Grade based on cooperation, effort, behavior, knowledge and skill.
**Participate safely and with Sportsmanship**
Students who are NOT prepared (without sneakers) for physical education class will receive an 0.

Rules & Expectations

No gum or food in the gymnasium
No jewelry, No phones 
No fighting, No bullying

Basic Consequences:
1. Warning (1st Offense)
2. Conference with student (2nd Offense)
3. Contact home & referral (3rd Offense)

Students are expected to use encouraging words and Sportsmanship at ALL times.
